INTERVIEW WITH THE DIRECTOR
A personal interview with the director of master's or doctoral program takes place once the previous steps have been completed.
PAYMENT COMMITMENT LETTER
You must submit a payment commitment letter duly signed and pay the first installment.
CURRICULUM
The Master's Program in City Management stands out for its multidisciplinary approach, focus on disruptive technologies, and development of both technical and soft skills. APPLICANT PROFILE
- Professionals with degrees in Architecture, Urbanism, Engineering, Management, Economics, Sociology, Law, Geography, Public Policy, Communication, Informatics, or related fields.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, preferably in public institutions.
- Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computing proficiency.
- High-speed internet connection
- Laptop with essential software
- Non-certified copy of the valid National Identity Card (DNI) or Alien Registration Card (ARC).
- Non-certified copy of the bachelor's degree registered in the National Superintendency of University Education (SUNEDU). Not applicable to Ulima graduates.
- Resume duly signed with passport-size photo (JPG format, 240x288 pixels, 300 DPI minimum resolution, in front of a plain white background, no eyeglasses).
- An academic or employment recommendation letter, or a work certificate from your current or most recent job.
- A minimum of three (03) years of work experience (preferred).
- Registration fee payment.
- Foreign language commitment letter, in accordance with the current university regulations.
- One (01) Statement of Purpose, to be completed on the platform indicated by the Graduate School.
- Once documents are submitted, the Admissions Office will send you an email within 48 hours to make the registration payment (350 PEN).
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates are prepared to hold senior and mid-level positions in local, regional, and national public institutions, as well as in business management, academia, multilateral organizations, and civil society organizations involved in sustainable urban development. They are equipped to analyze urban challenges from a strategic and comprehensive perspective—considering economic, social, and environmental dimensions—and to innovate in the design and implementation of public policies that align diverse sectoral and institutional interests.
To obtain the graduate status, students must:
- Complete the study program.
- Fulfill all university obligations.
- Process graduate status with the Student Services and Registry Bureau (DUSAR).
To obtain the academic degree, students must:
- Hold graduate status.
- Demonstrate proficiency in a foreign or native language by submitting a valid certificate from an institution recognized by the Ulima Language Center.
- Hold an approved thesis or research project in the relevant field.
- Comply with all requirements set forth in the rules and regulations.

ARTADI, Javier
Architect from Universidad Ricardo Palma. He has received multiple national and international awards and recognitions in the field of architecture and has been a speaker at conferences across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He is currently CEO of Artadi Architects and Professor of the Architectural Design Workshop at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
BRUCE, Carlos
Master's in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management from Universidad de Barcelona (Spain) and Economist from Universidad de Lima. He served as Minister of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation, as well as Congressman of the Republic of Peru. He is currently the Mayor of the Santiago de Surco district.
NEUHAUS, Carlos
MBA from Southern Methodist University and Master's in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Earned a Diploma in Development Studies with a focus on Public Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's in Administrative Sciences from Universidad de Lima. Former CEO of the Pan American Games Project and current President of Ingeniería Corporativa S.A.
ORREGO, José
Architect from Universidad Ricardo Palma. Founding member of the Peru Green Building Council. Served as commissioner for Peru's participation in various editions of the Venice Biennale of Architecture. Currently CEO of Metrópolis Oficina de Arquitectura and Director at Patronato Cultural del Perú.
